The participating institutions of the DP include an employment agency, personal agency, Employment Office, state administration authority, career and educational institutions, as well as representatives of target groups (trade unions, women?s interests promoting organization, local initiatives etc.). The extent and nature of partners? involvement in the project activities will depend on their level of expertise in particular fields and on the vitality that the areas they represent have to the project. All partners are represented in managing and operational bodies. To ensure joint decision making the system of continuous audit and open reporting will be operating.
The rationale for establishing this DP and its significance stem from a recent analysis of situation of large companies in the Czech Republic who confront restructuralization and problems associated with it. Both the companies and the individuals need to accustom to frequent changes and new settings. These transformations should be reacted upon by other institutions as well, especially the public and non-profit organizations active on the job market. It is essential that they flexibly respond to economic and socioeconomic conditions. Considering the growing restructuralization tendencies, large companies will face the need to address number of associated issues (e.g. cost reduction, excessive employment levels, inadequate age and profession structure etc.).

Main goal:
Developing an effective outplacement system of support for employees who are dismissed or are at risk of loss of employment as a result of restructuralization, as well as system of their subsequent integration and minimization of negative impact on employees, companies, regions, and state.

The very goal of the project is innovative itself. It concerns promoting and disseminating corporate social responsibility and inherently includes the outplacement activities. The innovative character of the project within the Czech Republic settings is to be found in its targeting those groups of companies that have not yet applied these methods to practice. Just as innovative are the promotion methods that are being developed and the employment of close cooperation with external subjects. The developed outplacement program will outreach the realm of regular care for employees by support services for dismissed employees and those at risk. New approaches in regard to type of the companies addressed are also applied in the area of internal personnel processes. The tested outplacement activities are focalised mainly into the counselling-educational establishment Centre for Employee Support. Innovative in its nature is the complexity of services offered, the methods used and outputs produced. There will be a number of new textbooks and educational materials published in various forms, including multimedia modules that will focus on non-traditional areas regarding this means of education

Transnationality

International cooperation of the DP will be executed mainly by providing and adopting new approaches, methods, and problem solving techniques (e.g. comparative analyses that will facilitate better understanding of problems; outline of problem solving methods used by partners; getting contacts that will help to find the best solutions based on the best practice; exchange of experiences, know-how etc.; analysis of job market opportunities in partner?s country; the issue of immigrants reintegration on the job market; the role of assessment centres in the system of outplacement). Our DP will modify and upgrade its problem solving approaches basing it on the presented models and comparative analyses. Trying out innovative approaches and solutions in different settings will be of an added value to their promoters themselves by revealing new dimensions for usage of these tools, their modification and improvement. Besides, there will also be operating the model of parallel development, which is aimed at creating innovative approaches and handling the issue of outplacement in different settings. The cooperative activities will concentrate on developing educational materials (e.g. teaching languages through e-learning) and in general on cooperation on improving efficiency of outplacement methods.
