Social exclusion of the Roma minority is mainly the result of its
exclusion on the labour market. The excluded Roma population features
low education and life style, that is in contradiction with the labour
market demands.
ObjectiveText available in
Our aim is to develop a dynamic system for the improvement of the
(excluded) Roma employability. This system contains the internet
database of the job applicants and the database of employers, both well
suited for the specific needs and demands of the Roma applicants. The
next part of the system is educational activity, serving the classic
retrainig schemes, but mainly focused on the psycho-social skills,
needed in the labour market. The main principle is the dynamic
interaction between all the parts of the system, which allows the
autoregulation of the system behaviour. There are also important
additional activities as the assistance for the employed clients and
their employers, seminars for the personal management of selected
organizations or the support for small and middle enterprise.

The main innovative point is the dynamic interaction between the

offer of the education activities. This system is extended by the
assistance and the seminars for the personal management of selected
organizations.

The main target population of our work are the Roma unemployed job
applicants and the low-employability Roma unemployed. The next target
populations inside the Roma population are the low-qualified employees,
seeking the better job.

Transnationality

Our aim is to cooperate with a slovak partner organization, which also
participates on EQUAL CIP in Slovakia. We have already made some initial
contacts with this organization. The next possible foreign partner is a
spanish organization, providing complex representation for the spanish
Roma minority. The main reason is the verification, validation and
comparation of the results of activities focusing on improvement of roma
employability. This data will be valuable for the next decisions in the
field of welfare policy. Of course, the comparation is not the only
benefit, we expect from international cooperation. With regard to
character of the project and the absence of language barrier in the case
of Slovak partner, is naturally possible to exchange lectors for the
training of job applicants. The possibility of lectors exchanges with
other foreign partners also means important payoff for the training of
our internal experts. The spanish account is inspirative and instructive
for us by its systematic approach and especially the width of included
activities.
