The essential idea of the project is to facilitate entry and re-entry of blind, partially sighted people and combined impaired people into the labour market. According to the experts’ statements the rate of unemployment of this population group is higher then 70%. The main reasons of the high unemployment rate of visually impaired people are the insufficient qualification, low level of education, low effectiveness at work and prejudice from of employers.

The key partners of this Development Partnership have set the following goals:
1. Develop an effective education system of blind and partially sighted job applicants.
2. Provide comprehensive help and assistance for job applicants.
3. Develop information materials and booklets for employers and general public.
4. Find the job for the clients of the project.
5. Experience exchange among the transnational partners concerning the employment of visually impaired people.
6. Accept the system actions into the work of Labour offices with the visually impaired people and ensure effectiveness of the employment policy concerning this issue.
7. Target-group-members edification, organization of workshops.
8. Facilitate the education of ICT trainers.
9. Develop communication tool for the key partners and members of the target group.
10. Dissemination of the outcomes and best practices aimed at the general public in the Czech Republic.
Following Activities will ensure the accomplishment of the goals:
1. Labour market analysis from the target group’s and partners’ point of view.
2. Creation of the methods and training for assistants and coordinators.
3. Creation of the methods and education of visually impaired job applicants.
4. Edification of employers.
5. „Work rehabilitation“.
6. Integrated internet information portal for communication among the partners and target group.
7. Transnational cooperation.
8. Project management.
9. Education workshops for Labour Office.
10. Project dissemination and propagation of its outcomes.
11. Pilot implementation of the assistance including supervision.
12. Methods dissemination aimed at TyfloCenters in the Czech Republic.

TCA - SHARE
The six partners are comitted to a policy of active promotion of disabled people and will address:
- changing the attitude of employers and civil servants,
- "skill-assess", "up-skill" and "re-skill" the disabled people,
- flexible working arrangements and definition of "new" jobs trades,
- analysis of systems, networking, existing methodologies, tools and experiences,
- work on the image of the disabled,
- sharing best practices and transferring methodologies and practices.

Moreover the six partners will work on a sharing basis upon the following:
- work with and on beneficiaries; that's mean taht substantial afforts will be addressed towards the assessment, promotion, achievement, maintainig of skills,
- work on systems; that's mean that substantial efforts will be addressed on adopting and adapting best practices and holistic system aiming on how to leap over barriers and on how to promote disabled persons all time,
- work on mobilitz of beneficiaries; taht's mean that the Reunion Island partner willl organise a mobilitz programme for the beneficiaries,
- work on common products and outcomes.

The common objectives of this DP is:
- to identify succesfull methods and models of integrated employment and supported employment for visually impaired people,
- enhancing the employability of visually impaired people throuhg the development of ICT skills, linguistic skills, soft skills and other training programmes,
- develop methods for successful employer engagement, identify solutions to facilitate attitudinal change and to overcome barriers,
- identify successful methods of job coaching,
- compare the different national policies, systems and infrastructure,
- influence national and European policy for the benefit of visually impaired people,
- assess, evaluate and disseminate common activities and mainstreaming opportunities.
