Stuck in between: EU special award "For Diversity. Against Discrimination" 2009

In 2009 the “For Diversity. Against Discrimination” journalists award dedicated a special prize articles making the link between poverty and discrimination issues.        

Hanna Nikkanen from Finland received this special award for “Kerrosten välissä” (“Stuck in between”). Her article in the monthly magazine Voima tells the story of a migrant facing poverty in Finland.
