A free cinema event at Iðnó theatre in Reykjavik. The film is the Icelandic film Börn (Children) which deals with poverty and being a single mother with a low income. The star of the film is the National Ambassador Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir, who spoke of how they wrote the role and how she created this person who is experiencing poverty and has few resources. Also Katrín Jónsdóttir spoke of her experience being a single mother who is unemployed and Helgi Þór Einarsson spoke of his experience of becoming mentally ill and the social exclusion this often entails.
