The map – one of the main projects of the European Year 2010 benefiting citizens of Latvia. The map is a co-operation project between the Ministry of Welfare, the European Commission Representation and NGOs. Development of the project is financed by the European Commission Representation. The resource is placed on the Ministry's webpage www.lm.gov.lv and in a draft version was launched on 3 June 2010. NGOs, public institutions, charities and other organisations are invited to contribute to the data base. The interactive map will contain information on all social services provided and projects implemented in all administrative territorial units of Latvia.
Wider public information campaign is planned for the end 2010 using the Management Partnership resources.
