Carl Tham has a long history of working for public organisations and the Swedish government. He has worked extensively with education-issues and has also been Director General for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
- Carl Tham is a Swedish politician and social commentator. He has held several positions in the Swedish government through the years, among others as Minister for Education where he advocated for more female professors.
- In 1998 Carl Tham received the equality award from the Swedish National Union of Students for his meaningful work towards increasing equality in Swedish universities and colleges.
- Currently Carl Tham is active in ABF – the Workers’ Educational Association of Sweden which is Sweden’s largest adult education association.
