FULL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENTS
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING: (EN)
In preparation for "Interacting in Madrid" participants will be given access to our MOODLE where a complete pre-evaluation and assessment of training needs takes place. Both previous experience and expectations will be taken into account. Through joining this virtual community of teachers, applicants will have access to previous course content and through joining this virtual community of teachers, applicants will have access to previous course content and through the forum with past participants. In addition to the preparatory work of participants, Interacting will provide:
-Information on how to obtain grants and how to fill out application forms
-Information on payment schedule
-Programme of course content and timetable
-Detailed information on location of course from local Tourist Board
-Access to our forum on website www.interacting.info
-Organisation of accommodation
-Organisation of cultural activities during the course
At the end of the course participants will have extended their repertoire of teaching and learning strategies and will have a resource of games and drama activities which will contribute to the development of pupils thinking skills and personal capabilities and personal development in line national strategies and curriculum.
Within each course several options will be offered as listed under Areas Covered by the course. The training will be delivered thorugh a variety of plenary sessions, seminars and workshops.
Icebreakers and introductions, group work, building confidence, improving communication skills, developing dialogues, scene building, characterisation, story telling, bringing literature alive, language theatre sports and working with your voice.
A formal written evaluation will be completed at the end of the course with a further on-line questionnaire available post course.
Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the course and in the following weeks course activities, online resources and photos will be in the Interacting MOODLE.

Participants will also be given access to the client area of the Interacting website where in addition to a forum specific to the course they will be able to contact other teachers on the Interacting web
 
PROGRAMME OF THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES (DAY BY DAY)
Apart from Day One, Training takes place from 9.30 to 5 each day with a one hour break for lunch.
The Final hour of each day is devoted to evaluation, review and updating the MOODLE. In the evenings we run an optional cultural programme before dining together in a variety of city centre restaurants.
The Day One, Reception, an evening event of orientation and welcome, modeling on MOODLE and introducing Crazy Talk software.
Day Two, Icebreaking Activities and Warm Ups. Getting to know each other. The first days' activities focus on creating a safe environment. Cultural Programme: talk titled 'Living with the Spanish' and expatriate view from Journalist and writer Nick Lyne.
Day Three, From action to words and back. Exploring through games the variety and impact of the relationship between experience and its expression. Areas of work include non verbal communication. Cultural Programme: Treasure hunting in Madrid! An innovative way of seeing the monuments sights, meeting the people and learning about the city.
Day Four, Building blocks for dialogues. Strategies to improve the speed and skills in listening and vocal production. Here we connect games which sharpen oral presentational skills with diverse areas of curriculum. Cultural Programme: Interactive comedy theatre showcase, state of the art theatre in education performance.
Share and care, multimedia presentations from around Europe on culture and education.
Day Five, Scene Building. Working towards tentative structures to bring together skills sharpened in the previous days of training. Games that bring discipline and form to experience. Cultural Programme: Presenting the Prado, examples of good practice bringing games to museum visits and educating in the arts.
Day Six, The stories we live by. Bringing techniques of storytelling to relevant subject matter. Working on how to apply creative solutions to diverse areas of curriculum.
Formal Evaluation and review. Presentation of Certificates.
