FULL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENTS
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING: (EN)
The participants will be asked to fill in a questionnaire about their background (school/organisation), teaching subjects & interests, skills in English, experience with heritage education. They will have access to the HEREDUC manual as well as to the resources on the website www.hereduc.net.
Specialised knowledge of heritage themes and/or art disciplines are not required.
The course is an introduction to experience based learning about heritage, with a focus on the arts. Art based methods will be used to explore and investigate different types of
heritage. This investigation has an artistic outcome. It is aimed at both teachers and educational guides
or officers who want to start with heritage education and are looking for tools to get started or who already have experience with heritage education and want to stretch their
thinking.

Field visits, active hands-on workshops, reflections, sharing experiences and ideas and workshops in parallel groups according to target audience.
A DVD with results of the activities done during the study week. The course organiser will set up a forum for the participants to discuss the in-service training after it has ended and to further exchange experiences and materials.
