FULL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENTS
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING: (EN)
Bring some learning material which you can work on during the training sessions.
Option 1: Think about a learning situation with adults: one single hour, maximum 3 hours or a period of time (excursions, project work, etc.) and how learning processes could be improved by using/offering digital media (visualizations, podcasts...). Prepare some raw material and take it with you to the course on an USB-stick or a CD-ROM.
Option 2: Take pictures during the trip to the course venue with your digital camera (or cell phone, digital video camera,...) if available and make notes about your impressions or aspects you are interested in.

We will use this materials for hands-on exercises.
Familiarise yourself with the TACCLE book which will be sent to participants before the course starts.
This handbook will be available in 7 languages: Dutch, French, Italian, English, Spanish, Spanish, Portuguese and German.
To enable trainers from all over Europe to exploit the ICT resources available for introducing blended eLearning in their teaching. We Especially want to empower trainers to create materials for learning environments (LMS or LCMS) for adults such as Moodle, Dokeos, Fronter etc. Learning objectives include:
- developing learning paths rich in multimedia and interactivity
- using the appropriate web 2.0 + social media tools
- deploying an e-portfolio
- stimulate peer-learning and networking between participants from different European countries and backgrounds
This course is not aimed at advanced users of ICT.
Basic skills will be trained along with more advanced along with more advanced exercises and the new pedagogical and didactic approaches enabled by ICT will be addressed. The topics will be introduced in a short lectures followed by extensive hands on activities. Training material will be available in English.
A moodle 2.0 platform (with integrated Mahara portfolio software) will be created to be used by the participants before, during and after the course. The learning objects created during the course will be shared on this platform. A communication platform will be provided for the participants to discuss the in-service training after it has ended and to exchange further experiences and materials. The Mahara portfolio will be used to map outcomes of the course for each individual user both in terms of tangible results and of competences.
