FULL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENTS
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING: (EN)
ICT and eLearning need to take a leading role in supporting teaching and learning. In many schools around Europe, this is only true in few schools as teachers are finding it hard to integrate new technologies in their pedagogy. A varied and interesting course has been designed to help teachers discover the potential of ICT in an interesting and challenging method.
Help teachers realise the potential of ICT in their pedagogy.
Present innovative tools that teachers can use with their class including:
Blogs; Wikis; Digital Audio; Digital Video; Digital Story telling; eTwinning
... and including the above in project-based collaborative projects.
Participants will be presented with the pedagogic potential behind the approach that we are proposing, and will also be able to discuss this with the course tutors and amongst themselves.
They will be introduced to a range of tools that can be used in the teaching and learning process and to design learning experiences for "digital natives".
Participants will have the opportunity to practise their "new" skills and to discuss and develop ideas that they can put into practice.
The training organiser will offer support through email and instant messaging to the course participants for a period of one month after the commencement of the scholastic year in their respective countries. This will give us the opportunity to encourage all participants to apply the new skills more readily as they can count on the support given.
