Overview and aims

Study in Europe English (en) is a European Union project which aims to:

  • Show students worldwide what studying in Europe offers
  • Help international students to find out about higher education study, research and scholarship opportunities in Europe
  • Connect European higher education organisations with international students and partner institutions

Study in Europe promotes higher education in the following 33 Erasmus+ programme countries:

Management and delivery

Study in Europe is a three year project contracted by the European Commission, Directorate General for Education and Culture for the European Union.

It is being implemented by a consortium involving Academic Cooperation Association, Archimedes Foundation, British Council, Campus France, DAAD and EP-Nuffic.

It is supported by an Advisory Group of national higher education promotion agencies across Europe.

What will Study in Europe deliver?


Study in Europe web portal

The Study in Europe web portal helps students worldwide to find out about study, research and scholarship opportunities in Europe and directs students to national education portals to plan their studies.


Education events

At Study in Europe events English (en) , students can meet face-to-face with European higher education institutions and national promotion agencies for advice about studying in Europe. Find out more from the Study in Europe fairs website.


Promoters’ network

A network of promoters in 5 countries - Brazil, China, India, Russia and South Africa. The network will comprise of 10 promoters per country. The promoters will be based at higher education institutions and will be trained to advise students and researchers about study opportunities in Europe.


Promotional materials

Study in Europe promotional materials for international students include: leaflets, brochure and poster (printed and e-format), PowerPoint/prezi presentations, a film, plus student testimonials. These materials will be shared with European higher education agencies, institutions and promoters.


Social media and marketing

Study in Europe social media activities will showcase the benefits of studying in Europe to audiences worldwide and guide students in planning their studies.
