Erasmus Mundus - Opportunities for Scholars (Actions 2 and 3)
Scholarships
Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for scholars (academics)
who want to carry out research and teaching assignments and
scholarly work for an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course. See the
list
of available courses.
Erasmus Mundus scholarships are for non-European scholars to
carry out scholarly work in Europe; and for European scholars to
carry out scholarly work outside Europe.
The scholarship covers travel and living expenses for a
three-month working assignment:
This amount comprises a monthly grant of 4,000 Euro and a
fixed
amount of 1,000 Euro for travel expenses. The amount of the grant
awarded may vary according to the actual duration of the stay at the
host institution.
I am Non-European...
If you are a scholar from a "third country" (all countries of the
world with the exception of the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway,
Liechtenstein, Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia) you can apply for a three-month scholarship to carry out
scholarly work for a given Erasmus Mundus Masters Course in Europe.
You will work in one or more of the higher education institutions
running the Course of your choice. These scholarships are awarded to
the best scholars on a competitive basis. It should be noted that
third-country scholars have to provide their own insurance cover.
I am European...
If you are a European scholar working for an Erasmus Mundus
Masters Course and if your Course has started an Erasmus Mundus
Partnership with an institution in a third country, you are eligible
for a three-month scholarship to carry out scholarly work for your
Course at the third-country partner institution.
