Erasmus+ helping refugees through
European School, VET and Adult education
Supporting Member States' efforts to integrate refugees in Europe's education systems and ensure their skills development is an urgent task in the light of the current migration crisis.
Many initiatives are already taking place in EU countries. The European Commission can bring added value by sharing these initiatives and by offering support through its programmes.

Inspiring practices: how are European School Education, VET and Adult Education Institutions helping?
Following the results from an EU survey, the European Commission has published a list of existing initiatives(1.18 Mb)
to provide inspiration to individuals and institutions interested in facilitating the integration of refugees.
EU survey: European Commission has conducted an EU survey to collect a wide range of initiatives taken by European School Education, VET and Adult Education Institutions actors
The objective of this survey was twofold:
- To have a better idea/picture of the initiatives already taken by European School Education, VET and Adult Education Institutions actors in this area and of the challenges they may have encountered
- To share and disseminate good practices while adapting the Erasmus+ programme to the current situation through a bottom-up approach and asking the actors to contribute to the global reflexion
256 participants from around 15 countries answered the survey(20 kB)
