Marie Curie Actions reaching out to US-based researchers
The conference aims at attracting American scientists and expatriated Europeans to relocate to Europe by informing them on all the existing European and national schemes. The Marie Curie Actions will be represented by Aksam Merched, a brilliant fellow in molecular and cellular biology who spent 12 years in the US and returned to Europe with a fellowship at INSERM in Bordeaux, France.
The Marie Curie Actions offer various possibilities of mobility to and outside Europe. The exchanges between Europe and the US are the most important with a non EU- or associated country. There are currently 206 American researchers who are benefitting from the Marie Curie Actions and 437 American institutions and research centres are participating in the Marie Curie Actions.
