European Qualifications Framework: Keep abreast of the latest developments

The European Commission has just published the first issue of a newsletter dedicated to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The EQF is a new European tool in the making that will help jobseekers and employers better understand and compare the qualifications of different countries.
The newsletter is meant to reach and inform a broad audience of experts, decision-makers and practitioners involved in education, training and qualifications. The aim is to encourage and support debate on the way in which the European Qualifications Framework is being put in practice both within EU countries and at the European level.

The EQF Newsletter is produced by the European Commission with the support of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) and the European Training Foundation (ETF). It will be published three times a year.

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter please register by sending an email to: eac-eqf-newsletter@ec.europa.eu .

If you would like to contribute to the newsletter you can do so under the same address. Contributions can be sent in English, French or German.

EQF newsletter – the first issue

The first issue of the EQF newsletter takes a look at how the EQF is becoming a reality across Europe, with examples from Malta and Ireland, and how it is already creating interest outside Europe.
