Leonardo da Vinci: how to participate
Find information on how to apply to organise or participate in projects funded through the Leonardo da Vinci Programme for vocational education and training.
An annual call for proposals for projects is made for each of the sub-programmes of the EU’s Lifelong Learning Programme, including Leonardo da Vinci.Read more about the 2012 call and find official documents and a guide to programme funding.
Some of the activities are "centralised", which means that the applications for projects must be sent to the EU’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. This generally covers the larger-scale co-operation projects, such as multilateral projects and networks.
The agency allocates and manages the grants, selecting applications with the help of external experts.
Other actions are "decentralised", which means that the applications must be submitted to the national agency in each participating country. This includes mobility of individuals, multilateral projects for the transfer of innovation, partnerships and preparatory visits.
