This is a brochure released at the 15th Anniversary of the Leonardo da Vinci programme in 2010. The stories focus on innovative projects, exchanges and placements which have helped individuals and organisations throughout Europe gain and apply new skills and knowledge. The projects presented have been funded through the mobility and multilateral projects of the Leonardo da Vinci programme.
This brochure comprises twelve Leonardo da Vinci projects that had a special creative and innovative approach and brought about convergence between the participating countries in policy and practices in the field of VET. The projects aimed at the creation of European pedagogical exchange networks, the setup of various open online learning systems, the creation of a consulting and training network for SMEs, of language learning tools and many others.
You can read through a series of successful projects with the objective to increase the mobility of pupils, teachers, trainers and professionals in the vocational field. The projects were funded through the Mobility action of the Leonardo da Vinci programme and comprise both public and private partners.
20 successful projects aimed at supporting people in the acquisition and use of skills, knowledge and qualifications in the vocational field. These are examples of tools to improve the vocational education system in different countries and of well organised programmes for placements abroad. The projects were implemented before 2007 and were funded through various actions of the Leonardo da Vinci programme: mobility for learners and trainees, mobility for VET professionals, partnerships for transfer of innovation and partnerships for the development of partnerships.
