The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

International Summer Language School
The International Summer Language School is one of the major international events of the University of West Bohemia.
It has three main goals: to give the people an opportunity to improve their language skills, to help people gaining a better understanding of different cultures, to create a truly international and intercultural environment by bringing together Czechs with the people from all over the world. In a truly international setting, it offers language courses in Czech for foreigners, English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish at beginner to advance levels in co-operation with native speakers and Czech lecturers.
The ISLS provide an exceptional opportunity to combine high-quality language instruction with a lifetime experience in a friendly, international atmosphere.
