The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

CMC - Communicating in Multilingual Contexts
The project aims at enabling university students to improve the quality of their linguistic knowledge as required in trans-national higher education contexts. In particular, the project aims at producing innovative language materials designed by a partnership made up of six universities located in England, The Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Slovak Republic and Spain.
The project addresses to mobility students who wish to carry out a university experience abroad and, thus, need to develop essential academic language skills. Activities within the project include the production of on-line language modules which will cover both content and language skills related to the academic environment.
