catalogue of projects 1998-99").
The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Pitagora Mundus Programme
The Pitagora Mundus Programme is a language and cultural exchange project.
In such a context, the Pitagora Mundus program involves the creation of 10 Schools of Knowledge open to the best skilled, in order to elaborate and promote the study of scientific dynamics and present social politics, through moments of recovering and dissemination the Magno-Grecian, Italic, and Euro-Mediterranean culture.
It intends to create a network of 10 schools (called “Schools of Knowledge”), with branches in 10 of the most beautiful towns in Calabria (called “Towns of Knowledge”), connected to 20 study centres which derive the uniting collaboration between Universities, Institutions and Chambers of Commerce in 20 countries of the world, (called “Pythagorical Cities”).
