The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Label of the day
This is an international project, which is aimed at motivation of pre-school children for language learning. Partners of the project are: France, Spain, Greece and Cyprus. The main aim is to find and use new methods in language learning and exchange good practice in this area among partners. Children can communicate with their friends from partner schools and use ICT. There are held various activities, in frame of the project, like a garden party, visit from heaven and hell, spring celebration etc. All actions are prepared in one of the targeted languages.
The main output is to collect and describe new methods of language learning for both pre-school children and for pupils and to find new ways how to motivate them for language learning.
