This database contains projects that have received the European Language Label since 1999
(for the pilot phase 1998-99, please refer to "The European Label:
catalogue of projects 1998-99").
The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Languages Make Europe
After taking part in school projects including ICTE and symposia organised by the Cyber-Languages Association, we thought it would be interesting to pool our skills and share in written form the findings of educational experiments on use of the Internet in language classes. The regional teachers' resource centre (CRDP) that manages the "I teach with Internet" collection suggested that I update the guide on languages. A team was therefore formed around the collection director Bernard Pellen and the editorial manager Yves Picard. It was then necessary to find teachers of different languages in several types of school who accepted to go on record and share their experience. The aim of the "I teach with Internet" collection is to support teachers in their first steps on the Internet in the presence of the pupils. It therefore offers the teacher a way of describing and analysing class project
