The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

We are multicultural
(1) bring to awareness the diversity of languages and cultures and motivate for learning languages, (2)create a language-friendly atmosphere for pupils and parents, involve parents into the learning process, (3)motivate parents of pupils with a mother tongue other than German to learn the German language.
For the initiative of this elementary school the focus is clearly on the countries of origin of the children. The process of sensitization for languages is carried out in various ways – also the parents of pupils with a mother tongue other than German are integrated into the learning process.
