catalogue of projects 1998-99").
The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Global Qualifying System for Language Schools
The Association of Language Schools in Hungary has developed a system with which an independent scaling of language schools operating in Hungary can be done. The quality checking method primarily investigates the training courses offered by language schools. The qualification procedure is carried out by independent experts in schools of language education in which this quality check is requested. Whichever language school is found to meet the criteria set up by the system is given a quality mark. The schools that have qualified receive the right to use the special logo of the "qualified language schools". So far 21 language schools have received the quality mark in Hungary. The qualified schools serve as good examples and motivation for those language schools which have not yet received a qualification.
