The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Application of CLIL methods in the teaching of chosen subjects at secondary school
The project „Application of CLIL methods in the teaching of chosen subjects at secondary school" deals with deep implementation of the CLIL methodology in the Czech Educational System at Secondary Schools. It will add strong benefits in different areas of the educational system. First of all, it developed teachers´ skills and professional competences, increases their adaptability and flexibility in the European labour market through the deep implementation of the CLIL principles in their teaching. Secondly, it creates space for improvement that the students may require in the area of development for their professional language skills in Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Biology and Chemistry, in both written and oral communication, their chance to be actively involved in student exchange programmes, etc.
