The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Quality assurance system for foreign language teaching at a higher education institution – example of the Warsaw University of Technology
The project aimed to take quality-oriented measures supporting the establishment of a coherent language teaching and learning system at a higher education institution, including in particular:
a) defining principles and developing a proposal of a system for assuring the quality of education;
b)implementing the system, i.e. joint development of a system for assuring the quality of work through the simultaneous introduction of three programmes:
• a development and support programme for teachers, which is necessary for the effective implementation of the curriculum adopted;
• a support programme for students, which will enable students to learn more effectively;
• a programme for the monitoring and assessment of teachers’ performance.
