The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Pek, the Traveller Flea 3
"Pek, the Traveller Flea", is an eTwinning project aiming at the creation of a comic made among several European schools, published in all the partners' languages, in PDF, web and paper. Teachers and pupils from 11 Europeans schools used the online school platform eTwinning during the project to achieve that goal.
The pedagogic objectives for pupils are:
→ to know about European places and languages.
→ To learn to create stories in a collaborative way and how to convert them into comics.
→ To learn to design merchandising objects.
→ To learn about software tools such as: web browser, forum, wiki, blog, text editor, image editor, desktop publisher, etc.
→ To use free software: LibreOffice, GIMP and Scribus.
The partners' are planning a 4th edition.
