The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Business studies – Theory and practice in unity
The aim of the programme – incorporating theoretical and practical training – designed by the Vocational Academy Bilingual Secondary School of Economics is to provide the students with knowledge of business English that is adaptable in one’s everyday life and work situations. Students participating in the programme study the economic subjects in English as well and at the end of their studies they take a school-leaving exam in business studies in English. The school’s professional training completed by two 3 week vocational practices in England , which are organised by the Hungarian school in close cooperation with a British vocational institution. During the trainings the students’ professional and language skills develop.
