The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Cert-ComP-LIS - Language Certification and Professional Competences: The New Challenges of the "2014 Signs School"
The project creates a planned system of the experiences of the authority that, in the last decade, has realized research and educational paths bound to the learning of the sign language.
The request comes from the detection of the needs on the area that deaf people have, together with the “community of the signing ones”, that is to say all those people, hearings or not, who elaborate, seek and express culture and professionalism in the LIS world (“linguistic operators in LIS”, or “assistants to communication”, or LIS interpreters, volunteers, guides, educators, but also teachers). For this articulate system of professionalisms, the project’s goal is the consolidation of a pole of research, experimentation and education to give answers of excellence to the needs of the “community of the signing ones”.
