The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

English language in live language room with the disabled children
Thanks to our researches we believe that active learning is an effective teaching technique. Apart from our students, we use the "Live language room" in our school with the disabled students from ‘Güneş Yolu Private Learning and Rehabilitation School’, in order to teach them all the steps of foreign language. We believe that active teaching is especially effective and important for the disabled children and, like all other students, the disabled ones should have the same learning opportunities. For this reason, the education in our "Live language room" gives us the opportunity to be more active and use active teaching methods for these children. Compared to traditional teaching, students learn more material, retain the information longer and enjoy the class more.
