The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Father Christmas, the Befana and the Magi Are in Trouble
Stage lights, costumes, gifts, the desire to be able to communicate even when you speak different languages, the ambiguities and subtleties associated with these difficulties, the memories of Christmas plays and games of childhood have always had a particular appeal for everyone. This is the idea behind the English, French, Spanish and Italian multilingual theatrical project made by about 200 pupils aged 11-12 years, belonging to all the classes of the second, and by eleven Italian teachers. We started with the selection of the linguistic and literary material concerning the Christmas traditions celebrated in EU countries, to go to studying and acting in class the jazz chants and the communicative expressions notes.
