The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

CLACSON – LSP: Courses on the Net – Languages for Specific Purposes
The CLACSON project on Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) is part of a wider framework of teaching and learning foreign languages in e-learning. CLACSON LSP is mainly aimed at developing the comprehension of texts for specific and academic purposes (B2- - B2+ levels), as well as for professional use of the L2 (CV writing, consulting specialist web sites, understanding job advertisements, etc.).
The modules produced so far by the CLA include: Economics, Law, Biology, Geology, Civil Engineering, Communication, Political Science, Performing Arts, Architecture (for English); Economics (for French).
