catalogue of projects 1998-99").
The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Label of the day
Aims of the project: using an unconventional method which encourages active participation and promotes diversity in teacher training offered within the German-language specialisation area at the College; integrating external institutions and individuals in order to extend the range of language learning options offered at the College; presenting the work of the College community to the external environment; involving students and teachers of the College in the implementation of non-teaching activities as part of internal cooperation.
The above strategic aims are translated into specific operational objectives. The project participants: are able to edit texts; are able to carry out tasks involved in the editing of a magazine; are creative, are able to write interesting texts and present achievements of the German-language specialisation area, as demonstrated by all issues of Palette.
