The database aims to inspire practitioners, stakeholders and policymakers by presenting "best practices" in the field of
language teaching and learning.
The European Language Label is awarded to local, regional, and national projects that have found creative ways to improve
the quality of language teaching, motivate students, make the best use of available resources to diversify the languages
on offer, and other innovative initiatives.

Talk to Me and Listen to Me!– ¡Habla conmigo y escúchame! – Benimle konuş ve beni dinle! – Pričaj sa mnom i slušaj me! – Parent training for early language acquisition in a multilingual context
The aim of the project “Sprich mit mir und hör mir zu!” (“Talk to Me and Listen to Me!”) of the VHS Götzis and the association “okay.zusammen leben” is that children acquire the country’s language and at the same time preserve and further develop their family’s language(s) or the language(s) of the country of their origin. The project wants to achieve not only better educational integration of children with a migration background but also to support the preservation, fostering and expansion of multilingualism in our society. The target groups are bilingual and multilingual parents with a migration background and little education.
In this project, a comprehensive informational brochure was developed that gives parents general tips in easy-to-read language on how they can promote the bilingual or multilingual development of their children in the best way possible. This brochure is written
