Jean Monnet Contributions to the Reflection on the Future of Europe

Call for input by Professor Kalypso Nicolaïdis

At the Jean Monnet Conference in Brussels on 7-8 September 2009, the Jean Monnet network had the honour of welcoming Professor Kalypso Nicolaïdis, member of the Reflection Group on the Future of Europe (chaired by Felipe Gonzalez).

Professor Nicolaïdis called for input by the Jean Monnet professors in order to generate a compendium of proposals emanating from the academic world with the view to inspire the Reflection Group's work.

To provide Professor Nicolaïdis with the benefit of the insight and expertise of the Jean Monnet Professors and to allow for a further interaction and discussion on the submitted contributions, the European Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture has opened this webpage. It will feature the contributions from Jean Monnet Professors who want to give a positive reply to the important sign of openness manifested by Professor Nicolaïdis.

Please submit your contribution in its final form in PDF and Word versions to Youri.Devuyst@ec.europa.eu. When submitting a contribution, you agree that it is posted, with your name and coordinates, on the website of the European Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture.
