New Skills for New Jobs – The role of Higher Education Institutions and Business Co-operation


Dublin, Ireland , 22nd – 23rd October 2009

The European Commission in partnership with the Department of Education and Science, the Higher Education Authority of Ireland and the Department for Employment and Learning of Northern Ireland organised a thematic forum on "New Skills for New Jobs – The role of Higher Education Institutions and Business Co-operation" in Malahide, Dublin, Ireland, on 22-23 October 2009. This forum is part of the University-Business Dialogue initiative launched by the European Commission to improve the cooperation between Higher Education and Business and to provide on European level a platform for a lasting dialogue between the relevant stakeholders.
