25th anniversary conference of the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities
Educational models are changing. As universities embrace open and flexible learning the international student market is becoming a reality. Formal learning becomes integrated with non-/informal learning and educational innovation is financially, technology and socially driven. Open education and open educational resources play an increasingly important role in supporting educational transformation.
This is the scope of the 25th anniversary conference of the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU). The conference will be held at the Open University of Cyprus in Paphos on 27-28 September 2012 under the Cyprus EU Presidency. The following topics will be addressed:
Findings of projects relating to quality assurance in e-learning, on line or virtual mobility and knowledge sharing with business will also be presented.
This year's themes are: Open media, new markets, networked curricula, university curricula, academic networks, virtual mobility, open educational resources, university strategies and business models, university-business cooperation, knowledge circulation, entrepreneurship, virtual interfaces, quality assurance in e-learning.
