Visits and exchanges actions enable present or future staff working in adult learning to undertake a work-related visit abroad. Participants should gain a broader understanding of adult learning in Europe, improve their work-related skills and support the work of their host organisation.
To receive funding, training must relate to the candidate’s professional activities in any aspect of adult learning, whether formal, non-formal or informal. Relevant topics include:
The duration of the visit may vary depending on its purpose, but cannot exceed 12 weeks. However, visits longer than 12 weeks can be funded through "Grundtvig Assistantships", while more formal training events can be funded through in-service training.
While visits of this kind may lead to future cooperation between the participant’s organisation and the host organisation(s), applications where this is the primary purpose should be submitted under the preparatory visits action.
If you would like to benefit from a grant for any of the activities listed above, please contact your national agency to find out about the application process and deadlines.
