Contributing to quality assurance in African higher Education and promoting Study in Europe opportunities in Cameroon
In the context of our policy dialogue in higher education under the Joint Africa-EU Strategy, DG EAC is contributing to the organisation of the 10th International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Africa (ICQAHEA), which will take place in Yaoundé in the week of 17 September. A study in Europe fair will take place back to back for students and their families.
The 10th ICQAHEA will follow-up the conclusions of the 5th Africa-EU Summit held in November 2017 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire under the overarching theme: “Investing in Youth for Accelerated Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development." It will take stock of the progress made in implementing on-going continental initiatives supported by DG EAC to improve quality of higher education systems in Africa ("Tuning Africa" and "Harmonisation, Quality Assurance and Accreditation initiative") and will discuss how to exploit their results in the activities foreseen for the period of 2018-2020.
There will be presentations and workshops at the Conference on the Erasmus+ programme (including Jean Monnet), the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions as well as a Study in Europe fair to provide information to students and their families.
Please visit the webpage of the ICQAHEA for more details on the overall conference: http://www.icqahea.org/
Don't miss the opportunity to learn about opportunities to study in Europe during the Study in Europe fair that will take place in Yaoundé on 18-19 September 2018. There will be information about higher education in different European countries and scholarships for students and researchers in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
This is interesting for you if you are a student (at high school or already at university), a researcher, a young professional looking for postgraduate studies or a university representative. We also welcome parents interested in opportunities for their families.
