Who is the 2 millionth Erasmus student?
22 years after the launch of Erasmus we are celebrating the fact that 2 million students in Europe have had the chance to study or do a placement abroad with the support of the programme.
Since it is impossible to say who exactly the 2 millionth Erasmus student was every country participating in the programme has nominated one student who has just been abroad with Erasmus.
Here are the stories told by the 31 students from all across Europe, who can now claim to be Number 2 million, but symbolically stand for all the others who have lived the Erasmus experience.
