EMA Thematic Conference on Communication

The second Erasmus Mundus Thematic Conference will take place in Bordeaux on 29-30 March under the title "Communication: let's re-define the terms". The event is being organised by the Erasmus Mundus Alumni Association (EMA) in co-operation with the University of Bordeaux, the French Erasmus Mundus National Structure and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture.
The conference aims to provide a platform for constructive dialogue on communication between people from all academic disciplines: engineers, lawyers, doctors, journalists, environmentalists, economists, technologists, policy makers and researchers. This issue will be addressed from a variety of perspectives: international relations, inter-cultural development and politics; research and culture; lack of communication leading to financial turmoil; information and communication technology and innovation; and green and political communication.

Conference participants will have an opportunity to attend the presentations of renowned international keynote speakers and to present their own research, projects and personal views on issues discussed in parallel workshops.

Interested prospective applicants are recommended to take a look at the Preliminary Conference Programme and submit the Application Form to application@em-a.eu by 24 January (13:00 CET). For any additional questions, please contact the conference organisers at thematic.conference@em-a.eu.
