Spain - Carme

I was as an Erasmus in student in 1989-1990. I went from my university in Spain, which was the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, to Venezia in Italy. I also spent some time in Utrecht in the Netherlands. When I did my Erasmus period I was doing my Doctorate in Geography. After that I started to work in the university, first as Associate Professor, and then as Full Professor.

In 1999 I was elected deputy of the Government of Reus (Terragona), where I worked in the field of urbanism. In the 2000 elections I was elected deputy for the province of Terragona in the list of PSC-PSOE; and I still work in that position nowadays.
