Euro Taxi video interviews - leading economists talk about the growth strategies

The Brussels Economic Forum, 31 May 2012

The Brussels Economic Forum is the European Union’s main platform for debate on economic issues. In 2012, the BEF concentrated on the sources of economic growth and fostered the debate on revisiting the growth models in the EU. The video features short interviews with key figures from the conference, including Pier Carlo Padoan (Deputy Secretary-General, Chief Economist, OECD), Jong-Wha Lee (Senior Advisor for International Economy to the President of South-Korea), Marco Buti (Director-General, DG ECFIN), Philippe Aghion (Professor of Economics, Harvard University), Danuta Hübner (Member of the European Parliament), Benjamin Friedman (Professor of Political Economy, Harvard University), as well as informal interviews with citizens.

Euro Taxi is a European TV show and network which gathers individuals' opinions using a very simple tool: a moving studio, a taxi. ECFIN's aim is to use the videos to inform, collect views and in general to encourage European citizens to get involved in the debate on financial and economic issues.
