Around Easter 2010, these posters were displayed in airports and train stations in ten euro-area countries (Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and The Netherlands). The posters are part of an information campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of the euro among euro-area citizens.
They show how the euro improves price transparency, eliminates exchange costs, and makes travelling easier. They also highlight the euro's role in the world.
