These other financing programmes are implemented in co-operation with main
international financial institutions: the European Investment Bank (EIB), the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the Council of
Europe Development Bank (CEB) in co-operation with the Kreditanstalt für
Wiederaufbau (KfW). They are:

The Municipal Infrastructure Facility (MIF)
The objective of the MIF is to support municipal infrastructure projects in
most of the countries which joined the EU in 2004 and in certain applicant
countries.

The Municipal Finance Facility (MFF)
The objective of the MFF is to develop and stimulate commercial bank lending to
small and medium-sized municipalities in most of the countries which joined the
EU in 2004 and in certain applicant countries.

The Energy Efficiency Finance Facility (EEFF)
The EEFF aims at increasing investments in energy efficiency in order to
improve the energy performance of buildings and the industrial sector in
Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Turkey.
