03/05/2007 : Modelling Structural Reforms in the EU: Lisbon methodology III

Workshop organised by the European Commission and the EPC working group on Lisbon methodology Brussels, 3 May 2007 BREYDEL, Avenue d'Auderghem 45, 1040 Brussels, Auditorium

On 3rd May, a workshop was organised jointly by the Commission services (the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry) and national authorities through the working group on the methodology to assess Lisbon related structural reforms (LIME) attached to the Economic Policy Committee: the workshop programme and a list of participants is annexed.

The purpose of the workshop was to bring together modelling experts from the Member States, Commission services, international organisation (including the ECB, and the OECD) and academia to share practical experiences with modelling structural reforms. It should be seen as part of a wider research agenda to develop a transparent and economically sound analytical framework for assessing the impact of structural reforms, carried out at both EU and national level, as part of the EU's Strategy for Growth and Jobs (GJS).
