The European Commission – Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs – is organising a conference on innovation policies and the role that they can play in the context of the economic recovery and exit strategy from the current economic crisis.
The aim of this conference is to bring together high-level speakers from international organizations, financial institutions, businesses and universities to discuss the relationship between finance, regulation, and innovation and the role of policies to sustain economic recovery and prolonged economic growth in Europe.
The timing of the conference - at the beginning of the new parliamentary mandate - is strategic for defining new policy priorities and initiatives for the upcoming Commission.
