Croatia joined the European Union on 1 July 2013 and has committed to adopt the euro once it fulfills the necessary conditions.

Euro information

Status: Croatia is not yet a member of the euro area. The kuna has not yet joined the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM II).

Exchange rate: The current euro to kuna foreign exchange reference rate can be consulted on the website of the European Central Bank (updated daily).

Adoption of the euro: Croatia does not have a target date to adopt the euro.
