EMU in figures

On this page you will find the first ten years of Economic and Monetary Union illustrated in figures.

This substantial series of charts show data on key aspects of EMU including growth and GDP, public finances, price developments and others. All the data are taken from the Commission’s own economic databases including AMECO and Eurostat databases. Some of the charts include longer time series and/or data from non EU economies, for purposes of comparison.

Some of the graphs are provided in interactive form to enable the data to be refined by search filter; and all are downloadable.
