EU KLEMS is a Commission financed, industry level, growth and productivity
research project.
EU KLEMS stands for EU level analysis of capital (K), labour (L), energy
(E), materials (M) and service (S) inputs.
With the objective of exploiting this data source, DG ECFIN has created
individual country spreadsheets with industry level growth accounting tables
covering :
- Value added, labour productivity and labour input growth rates
- Value added and labour input shares
- Contributions to value added, labour input and labour productivity
- Value added growth accounting, with a breakdown into the contributions from
labour services, capital services and total factor productivity (TFP)
- Labour productivity growth accounting, with a breakdown into the
contributions from human capital improvements (i.e. labour composition
effects); ICT and non-ICT capital deepening; and total factor productivity
(TFP)
